A rematch between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno has been announced, and an immediate rematch between reigning UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo and first division number Brandon Moreno will take place this April.
This was announced by the President of the UFC, Dana White, answering questions from fans on the ESPN + platform.
“Figueredo-Moreno, this is the rematch that you are guaranteed to see this year. We discussed this the other day – it will probably take place in April. April-May, around this time, ”- said the head of the organization.
The title fight between Figueredo and Moreno, who led the UFC 256 tournament last December, went the entire distance, after five rounds of which two judges tied 47-47, and their third colleague gave the fight to the reigning champion with a score of 48-46.
Note that the largest mma promotion is scheduled for a numbered tournament UFC 260 for April, the exact date of which remains unknown.
