The official UFC rankings were updated today for UFC 262 in Houston. Charles Oliveira inscribed his name on the list of UFC champions and guaranteed himself a place in the ranking of the best fighters regardless of weight class. In the updated P4P ranking, the newly minted champion is on the 11th line.
In the featherweight rankings, Edson Barbosa has risen four positions at once and is now in ninth place, but Shane Burgos dropped to thirteenth place. Lightweight Beneil Dariush made the big leap after winning the fight against Tony Ferguson to climb six places at once. Dariush now closes the top three of the best lightweight fighters, but Ferguson has lost one position and is now ranked sixth.
Antonina Shevchenko, after losing on the preliminary card from Andrea Lee, lost three lines at once and now closes the ranking of the lightest female weight on the fifteenth line.
