It was reported yesterday that former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley (19-7-1) has been dropped from the organization’s official rankings, leading fans to believe he is no longer a promotion fighter.
Today this information has been confirmed, and athlete’s manager Malki Kawa announced that Woodley’s contract with the promotion has come to an end. Of course, there is a possibility that Tyron could sign a new one, but given his recent “successes”, this is unlikely to happen.
No they didn’t. His contract was up. https://t.co/mkdQ7Pa8CT

As a reminder, Tyron Woodley is currently leading a depressing streak of four defeats in a row, the last of which happened at the end of March, when in the framework of UFC 260 he lost by submission in the first round to Brazilian fighter Vicente Luca.
Note that Woodley owned the championship belt from 2016 to 2018 and during this time managed to make four defenses.
