Sergio Ramos has joined PSG on a two-year deal, as confirmed by the club’s official Twitter account.
The veteran defender left Real Madrid last month when his contract expired, and he was linked with a move to the Premier League, as Manchester United have shown interest in him.
However, he has instead opted for a move to the French capital.
7th July 2021, 13:00 – Guardiola says City “cannot afford” to pay £150m for Kane
Pep Guardiola has claimed that Manchester City “cannot afford” to pay £150m to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer, as reported by The Sun.
The Premier League champions made a £100m proposal for Kane last month, with the option of including players in the deal as well.
However, it seems unlikely that will be enough to entice Tottenham to sell, and now Guardiola has cast doubt on how much more City would be willing to spend to land their target.
7th July 2021, 09:15 – Barca to offer Griezmann to Chelsea
Barcelona are set to offer World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann to Chelsea, according to the Daily Star.
The Spanish giants are struggling with mounting debts this summer, and need to cut costs elsewhere in the squad if they are to keep hold of Lionel Messi.
It has been claimed that Barcelona cannot register any of their new signings, including Sergio Aguero, until they have sorted out their finances, which is why Griezmann could be shown the exit door.
6th July 2021, 15:15 – Gareth Bale planning to retire next summer
Wales winger Gareth Bale is planning to retire from football next summer, although he could still play for his country at the 2022 World Cup later that year, according to the Daily Mirror.
Bale only has one year remaining on his Real Madrid contract, and he has reportedly told those closest to him that he does not want to join another club when he becomes a free agent next July.
July 6th 2021, 13:00 – Leeds sign Junior Firpo
Leeds have completed the signing of Barcelona full-back Junior Firpo, as confirmed by the club’s official Twitter account.
The 24-year-old joins on a four-year deal, with the fee believed to be in the region of €15m (£12.8m).
The move comes just a day after Leeds confirmed that Ezgjan Alioski was leaving the club with immediate effect after failing to agree a new contract.

Tottenham are currently holding talks with Southampton over their centre-back Jannik Vestergaard, according to The Times.
The 6 foot 6 defender has been at St Mary’s for the last three seasons but has just a year remaining on his contract, and Tottenham appear eager to bring him over to north London this summer.
