Dana White, President of the UFC, has shared plans for the return of ex-Bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw of the United States. According to the head of the promotion, TJ will have a duel in which the next opponent of the winner of the confrontation between the reigning bantamweight champion Petr Yan from Russia and American Aljamain Sterling will be determined.
“We’re working on something for TJ (Dillashaw) right now, where the winner of that fight would fight (the winner of Yan vs. Sterling) for the title next,” White said.
Recall that Dillashaw fought his last fight in January 2019 and lost ahead of schedule to compatriot Henry Cejudo. After that, TJ was disqualified for two years for doping.
